GreenDatabase.org is a nonprofit organization focused on improving the environment by educating people through the process of gathering, sharing, and discussing information about all green-related topics.

The objective of the organization is to educate the general public, as well as the architectural community.  This is done by gathering information from ASHRAE, ASTM, US Green Building Council, Green Globes, US EPA, United Nations Environment Programme’s Sustainable Construction and Building Initiative (SBCI), and other related agencies, laboratories, and sources.

Active research is being undertaken in building products, life cycle assessment, energy use, alternative energy, water and air pollution, and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality), among other areas.  This provides GreenDatabase with dynamic information on sustainable issues related to building with regard to the health, safety and welfare of the public.

Thank you for taking the time to read about GreenDatabase.org.  Please continue to use this blog to share sustainable ideas, news in the green building field, and anything and everything that can help educate anyone and everyone about the importance of a healthy environment.  We appreciate your support.
