AXP

GreenDatabase.org provides an avenue for architectural students and intern architects to be involved with research on green issues and materials.  Through the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), intern architects enroll in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP).  Prior to the AXP program, the Intern Development Program (IDP) required intern architects to fulfill a minimum of 80 hours in leadership and service in order to achieve licensure as an Architect.  As a 501(c) 3 organization a charitable organization, GreenDatabase provided a vehicle to meet this IDP requirement.

Although, it is no longer a requirement for those seeking licensure, we want to  help students, graduates of architecture schools, and other like-minded individuals to enhance their work experience and provide a method to get involved and help spread sustainability education in architecture and in everyday life.
